We asked Andrew Harper members where they were most likely to visit in 2026, and Europe was the big winner. Great Britain got the most votes of any single country, with respondents evenly split between London and Scotland (certainly two of our favorite places in the world).
It’s no surprise that perennially popular Italy and France were close runners-up. In the former, the Amalfi Coast, Sicily and Sardinia garnered the most attention. French partisans displayed a north-south divide, with a particular focus on visiting Normandy and Provence.
Members have their sights set on numerous other destinations around the globe, including places near (Vermont, Mexico) and far (Japan, the Maldives). Safaris in various countries also came up frequently. They tend to be expensive, but going on safari is one of those incomparable, iconic travel experiences that’s well worth the cost. It was especially exciting to see that at least one member is heading to Madagascar, an island where we’ve noticed several promising hideaways.
