The seven days we spent aboard the glamorous seven-cabin Aqua Mare superyacht plying the waters around the Galápagos Islands ranks among our favorite visits to this remarkable archipelago. During our immersive journey, we learned a great deal from our naturalist guides, who enthusiastically pointed out species endemic to the islands, and ate delicious Nikkei (Japanese-Peruvian) cuisine with a convivial group of fellow passengers. It all went by too quickly!

This video we took on our journey takes you inside the Aqua Mare yacht and shows you some of the wildlife we encountered. The animals on the Galápagos are so tame, we had no need of a telephoto lens. These clips were all taken with a pocket-size camera!
