My visits to New Orleans never fail to be memorable, and my most recent trip was no exception. This time, I discovered a stylish new hotel within easy walking distance of the nightlife of the French Quarter and the museums of the Warehouse District. In between decadent meals, I took time to explore the city’s art scene, visiting established favorites like the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden (its size was doubled to about 11 acres in 2019) and more cutting-edge venues like Studio Be in the Bywater. And of course, I left ample time to enjoy New Orleans’ jazz clubs. This video captures a few of my favorite moments of the trip.
