Lower Danube Cruise With AmaWaterways

This past spring, I had the pleasure of boarding AmaWaterways’ AmaMagna for a seven-night itinerary that included Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia and Hungary. This epic journey across Eastern Europe, enjoyed with a gregarious group of curious and energetic fellow passengers, decisively contradicted any notions that European river cruises are unexciting or unlively. It didn’t hurt that the AmaMagna is one of the widest riverboats on the Continent, encompassing four separate restaurants and unusually spacious cabins ranging from 205 to 710 square feet.

It was a pleasure to record my journey on video. This compilation includes shots of the interior of the ship, giving a sense of what it’s really like to be on board, as well as memorable highlights of the trip. Read more in my full review of the cruise experience.
