Grand Parisian Junior Suite, Le Grand Mazarin - Vincent Leroux

The hotel scene of Paris is always evolving, but with the start of the Summer Olympics, it’s in a veritable froth. Long-standing properties are upping their game, and new openings have been mushrooming. I dedicated my most recent trip to discovering new boutique hotels and re-reviewing two previously recommended hideaways.

In this video, you’ll see footage of Le Grand Mazarin’s cheeky interior décor, created by Swedish designer Martin Brudnizki, and its magnificent subterranean pool; the neighboring Cour des Vosges, an elegant traditional hotel situated on the Place des Vosges; and the new Maison Proust, which displays a beguiling fin-de-siècle décor. Next, we moved to the prestigious 8th arrondissement to review a long-recommended Parisian bolthole, the San Régis, plus the Maison Villeroy (and its Michelin-starred restaurant) and the trendy Maison Delano.
