Antiparos, less than 1 mile west of Paros, is a seven-minute car ferry from Pounta, a village on Paros’ western side. The port of Antiparos, on the northern end of the island, has a pretty seafront lined with restaurants overlooking the turquoise waters. Heading inland, its main street is dotted with the whitewashed buildings and blue doors that are a signature of the Cyclades. Bougainvillea drapes over the roofs of clothing and jewelry boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants. At the center of town are the ruins of a Venetian castle built in the mid-15th century. This quiet island has beautiful beaches, sea caves and laid-back beach bars that draw tourists and celebrities alike.
