Andrew Harper hasn’t stayed in business since 1979 by staying the same. We’re always trying to come up with ways to improve the member experience. In 2026, three long-term projects are coming to fruition, and we’re very excited to share them with you.

Small Groups, Big Tours

First, as I wrote in the February Hideaway Report, we’ve restarted Andrew Harper Signature Tours: exclusive small-group journeys I plan with our experts in the Travel Office and top in-country partners. Our 2026 Signature Tour to Italy has sold out, but we’ve just unveiled an exclusive Napa weekend in October and a private-jet Morocco trip in November, as well as a 2027 Italy Signature Tour. You can find all the details under the “Exclusive Experiences” tab on our website’s homepage.

We’ve Got an App for That

I may still write travel journals by hand and even consult paper maps from time to time, but I also appreciate more-advanced technology that can make globe-trotting easier. With that in mind, we’re creating an Andrew Harper app that will function like a smartphone version of the Collection guidebooks. But the app will be better in several ways. In addition to our recommended hotels, it will contain all of our restaurant recommendations and editor tips (we’ve never been able to fit everything in print). You’ll be able to easily search past Hideaway Report articles. You can bookmark hotels, restaurants and articles for easy later reference. And perhaps most important, the information on the app will be continually updated rather than once a year.

Italian Love Letter

We recognize the enduring, tactile rewards of holding a physical publication in your hands. In 2026, we decided to publish our ideal coffee-table book about Italy, the country that Harper members most often rank as a favorite. It’s certainly a favorite of mine. Creating the piece was a true labor of love, and I’m quite proud of it. Our art department pulled out all the stops, from the elegant packaging to the vibrant, full-page imagery. It’s a visually striking volume that also contains a trove of information for the luxury traveler.
