Everything about La Scalinatella is absolute perfection! Every need is met, and every whim fulfilled. They so far exceed expectations that no other hotel can compare. I had the privilege of always being welcomed by [the owner] Signor Morgano and the benefits of flawless service in arranging for any needs that arose during my visit, including assistance in locating lost luggage, arranging beauty parlor/spa services and organizing a private launch to the Blue Grotto, to name a few. When you order lunch by the pool, since there is no menu, you may ask, “What do you have?” Their response was, invariably, “What would you like?” And this is, in a nutshell, the hallmark of their service. It is, hands down, my very favorite hotel. Small or large, it has no rival. — C. S.
