In contrast, The Chatwal Lodge, 100 miles northwest of New York City, will comprise lavish but rustic suites, set next to a 1,000-acre lake, on a 30-acre preserve in the Catskills. The most distinctive of the accommodations will be a pine-and-cedar treehouse, with an outdoor deck raised 25 feet off the ground.
