To balance out visits to the major famous attractions, I often like to hire guides to give me more of an insider’s look at a destination. Montréal is a quirky city, with unusual gems scattered all over the place, including in (or perhaps especially in) neighborhoods outside the old center.
I asked the Travel Office to arrange two guided tours for me, one by bike and one on foot. Both modes have their advantages, and they provide different perspectives on a place. The tours could have been private, but feeling gregarious, I opted for the cheaper small-group options.
Note that both the companies below offer additional itineraries.
