East Africa is an iconic safari destination, and Tanzania has the lion’s share of the region’s top attraction: the Serengeti, home to the Great Migration. Planning a safari there takes a little strategy, however, thanks to the ever-changing position of the herds. Fortunately, much of the Serengeti is worth seeing even if the migration is elsewhere.
