A LIFE of LEISURE

Good living is serious business in France, and we count ourselves among the world’s many Francophiles. It seems almost impossible to have a bad time in a place so dedicated to fine food and wine. Some of the country’s best can be found in Burgundy, a region both visually and viticulturally gorgeous. Canal cruises here are a favorite escape of ours, but this time, we relaxed at several sybaritic new hideaways. A week in Montréal was also a great pleasure, with its atmospheric 17th-century center and constellation of superb restaurants. And in the Francophone tropical paradise of the Seychelles, we cruised aboard an extraordinarily plush new superyacht. Now that’s good living.
